Critical Commentary

Anita Dhole lives in the rehabilitation complex developed by Mumbai Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (MMRDA), displaced after a High Court order to remove settlements near the Tansa water pipeline. After moving to Mahul, residents start falling ill, experiencing infections and irritations in their eyes, skin, and respiratory tracts. Anita Dhole collects and organizes medical reports of those who have fallen ill after being relocated to Mahul.

This image shows one such X-ray report, and a resident's search for diagnosis and treatment.
